We are seeking to recruit a Field Service Technician who will be responsible for conducting field service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. The role ensures efficient and effective service delivery in line with the company’s goals and customer expectations.

  • Perform installations, repairs, and routine maintenance of company products and systems in compliance with established standards.
  • Assist in field service projects, ensuring timely completion and quality service delivery.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when required.
  • Maintain accurate service records and document all activities in company-approved systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards during field operations.
  • Provide customer support by resolving service queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in training programs to improve technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Support the service team with inventory management and administrative tasks as required.
  • Perform standby duties on weekends and public holidays as scheduled.
  • Manage time effectively between onsite and office-based tasks.
  • Take initiative to learn and share knowledge of equipment and service best practices.
  • Issue timely and accurate digital service reports.
  • Properly maintain company assets such as tools, testing equipment, and service vehicles.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned.
  • Strong technical knowledge of equipment and systems, preferably in security screening or related industries.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of service management software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands.
  • Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical training.
  • 2–3 years of experience in field service, preferably in the security screening industry.
  • Familiarity with Rapiscan products or similar security screening technologies is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn industry-specific software.
